What Does Authentic Allyship Look Like for Your Wedding Business?

WEVA members, If you're looking for a way to fulfill your required antiracism and diversity education hours for 2021, consider this new class from Altared, an event for wedding vendors who want to change the wedding industry.

The class is on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, and it’s called “What Does Authentic Allyship Look Like for Your Wedding Business?”

The class will be taught by Simone McNish, a DEI consultant and social media specialist who has trained more than 200 entrepreneurs and executives on the importance of diversity and running an inclusive business.

It's the first in a series of paid partnerships between Altared and established educators on the topics of diversity, inclusion, equity, and accessibility in the wedding industry.

About the Speaker

Simone McNish is a DEI consultant and business coach who has trained over 200 executives and entrepreneurs how to run diverse, inclusive and anti-racist businesses. 

She uses her education in race, privilege, and intersectionality plus real life experience as a black woman in America to help facilitate the conversation about inclusion. Simone curates dialogue to be both insightful and engaging, while being empathetic.
