Adding an Anti-Racism Statement to Your Website

Wedding and Event Vendor Alliance is welcoming new members this week! This is our first time bringing in new members and we are truly excited to welcome folx.

Last week we shared a bit about moving the wedding industry “beyond the black square” and why WEVA has an anti-racism policy, and this week as we prepare to welcome new members, we will be hosting a New Member Meet-up to talk about how to add an anti-racism statement to your website.

Membership is FREE thru Feb. 1, 2021 so NOW is the time to JOIN US!

Here’s what new members can expect this week:

First, you’ll receive an Introduction Packet so that you can familiarize yourself with our policies, particularly around education and anti-racism.

Second, you’ll set up your log in to our new member area. Once there, you will be prompted to set up a username and password. You’ll find the links for member badges inside the member area. This members only area will be updated with resources over the course of the upcoming year.

Third, RSVP for our Zoom at 4pm on Jan. 26th, so we can address your questions and talk about adding an anti-racism and/or inclusivity statement to your website.
