The Future of Live Events in a New Landscape
[White River Junction, Vermont] The Wedding and Event Vendor Alliance is a network of wedding and event professionals who are on a mission to create safe, inclusive, and diverse event spaces so that all clients, vendors and guests feel loved, seen and celebrated. Our non-profit organization is located in Vermont, however, we provide a path moving forward for industry professionals from anywhere in the world. We are committed to helping other business owners create and inspire change through honest and supportive conversations, workshops, and networking, as well as safety education and awareness to reduce risks of spreading Covid-19.
In order to expand diversity throughout the industry, we provide resources and opportunities for event professionals to connect and learn better business practices encompassing diversity, equity, inclusivity and accessibility. Through targeted marketing initiatives we aim to increase wedding tourism, attract new businesses owners to our communities and cultivate residency in Vermont.
Members of Wedding and Event Vendor Alliance pledge to provide a safe environment to celebrate the beautiful spectrum of love for all people regardless of race, religion, identity, sexual orientation, age or ability. We believe that the way forward for the wedding & event industry requires actively moving beyond complacency. We know that as a community of professionals dedicated to equity and safe spaces, we are stronger together.
